Event Schedule

Saturday, October 25 – Division I and Middle School Showdowns
• Gates open: 7:00 AM
• Games run until approximately 10:00 PM

Sunday, October 26 – Division II and Rookie Tackle
• Gates open: 6:30 AM
• Play concludes around noon

Admission & Entry

Admission wristbands are valid for both days and both venues.
Pricing:
 – Adults (18 & over): $20
 – Seniors (65+): $15
 – Veterans: $15
 – Youth (under 18): Free
Cash and credit accepted.
 

Rostered staff members with MVPW-issued credentials will enter with their team via the east ramp near Gate D at no charge.

Venue Information

Reser Stadium:
• Spectators enter through Gate D (east ramp)
• Sit in designated areas as directed by event staff

Prothro Field:
• Spectators enter through the West Gate near the Truax Practice Facility
• No bleachers available — guests may bring folding chairs or blankets

Concessions

Concession stands will be open throughout the weekend, offering a variety of food and beverages for families and guests. Please remember — no outside food or drinks are permitted in either venue; only water is allowed on the turf.

Spiritwear

Official 2025 Big Smash apparel will be available for purchase during the event. Inventory is limited to stock on hand, so families are encouraged to shop early before items sell out.

GRADE MATRIX

The grade the player will be going into NEXT school year (2025-2026) will be the grade level they will register for our Fall Tackle League:

Rookie Tackle                   Grades K-2

Division II                           Grades 3-4

Division I                             Grades 5-6

Middle School                  Grades 7-8 (Albany & Corvallis Associations ONLY)

  • MVPW provides football helmet, pants, shoulder pads, practice jersey and gear bag, all of which must be returned at the end of the season.
  • For all participants enrolled on or before June 1st, jerseys will include player last name on back. Late registrations are not guaranteed customization. Players get to keep the game jersey at the end of the season.  
  • Players must provide their own football cleats and mouth guard.
